This is a partially sheer linen; a black mini stripe on a grey-white base. I do find it looks different to the web photos, and closer up photos of the fabric would be ideal as it is a lot more grey than it looks online. The black stripe is not printed on but is actually part of the weave and there are parts where it has pilled and come out of the weave in knobby bits. I love the design, the loose sleeves, and the inclusion of pockets.
Quality linen with a beautiful texture and drape, some light colour linen is somewhat sheer but I did not find that to be the case with this one. I usually wear a size small-medium or AU 8-10. I went with a small and it is still a roomy, relaxed fit. I am about 153cm and it falls closer to my ankle than my knee as I expected. It washes well and overall I am pleased with the quality and design.
Love the dress! Nice material and breastfeeding friendly which is great. I sized down as I knew it would be over sized but was still on the larger side for me so just be aware of that.
Love this dress! So easy to wear, comfy, cute, girly. Just ordered a second color. I am a DD cup, so ordered an X-Large, and it fits through the chest but I don't swim in it. Hate paying the international shipping but decided not to think about that! :)
